What this policy covers

This policy explains what data we collect when you visit this site, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can control it. We keep it short and plain because you should not need a lawyer to understand what happens to your information. If anything here is unclear, email us at [email protected] and we will spell it out.

We are an independent review site, not a casino and not affiliated with any operator or studio. We do not take deposits, we do not run games, and we do not hold any gambling account for you. That keeps the data we handle limited.

What we collect

We collect a small amount of technical and usage data so the site works and so we can see which pages people find useful. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not need your name or payment details to let you read our reviews.

• Analytics data: pages viewed, rough visit duration, referring page, approximate region, browser and device type.
• Technical data: your IP address (used to derive an approximate location and then not stored in full where avoidable), and basic server log entries.
• Cookie and similar identifiers: small files that remember your preferences and let us count visits. See our cookie policy for the detail.
• Anything you send us: if you email us, we keep that message and your address to reply.

How we use it

We use this data to run and improve the site, nothing more exotic. We look at aggregate trends, not at you personally.

• To keep the site secure and working, and to diagnose faults.
• To understand which reviews and guides are read and where to spend our effort.
• To measure whether outbound links are followed, so we can report performance to partners in aggregate.
• To answer your emails.

Third parties

We share data with a small set of service providers who help us run the site, and with casino operators only in the limited way described below. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

• An analytics provider processes visit data on our behalf.
• Our hosting provider stores the site and its server logs.
• When you click through to a casino, that operator sets its own cookies and collects its own data under its own privacy policy, which we do not control.

How long we keep it

We hold data only as long as we need it. Aggregate analytics are kept for a limited period and then rolled up or deleted. Server logs are rotated on a short cycle. Emails are kept while a conversation is useful and then removed. We do not build long-term profiles of individual readers.

Your rights

You have rights over the data we hold about you. Depending on where you live these may include the right to access a copy, to ask for correction, to ask for deletion, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To use any of them, email [email protected] and we will act on your request. Because we collect so little, there is often little to hand over, but we will tell you what there is.

Children

This site is for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has contacted us, let us know and we will delete the record.
